Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen)

TGen goes digital with customized digital signage system

Situation:
On the cutting edge of medical research, Translational Genomics Research
Institute (TGen) needed a highly customized, state-of-the-art digital signage
solution to give better recognition to its donors, promote events, improve
internal communications and enhance branding.
Solution:
To fit the modern aesthetics of the location, NORVISION built custom ventilated
video-wall enclosures at each floor. The video-walls were designed
using the high-quality, ultra-narrow bezel LCD displays from NEC (X461UN)
mounted side-by-side in portrait mode. NORVISION implemented centralized
content management using the world-leading Scala InfoChannel software
and trained the marketing team on how to create high-impact digital signage
content and how to update pre-made content templates.

The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on developing earlier diagnostics and smarter treatments. Translational genomics research is a relatively new field employing innovative advances arising from the Human Genome Project and applying them to the development of diagnostics, prognostics and therapies for cancer, neurological disorders, diabetes and other complex diseases.
